Mathematics Euforic

Math math math... in a sudden flash during a deep discussion with a friend who teaches 3d at a local collage I realized that I really don’t have a clue how a 3d-engine really works. I had knowledge of the basic concept, but not about the finest details that really makes it work. So now I got this weird obsessive idea to force myself to completely understand how a 3d engine actually works... so now after a few days of looking into the matter I find myself buried in books... my investigation show that the problem in understanding does not lie in programming rather in math’s. So its not just enough reading about the 3d techniques alone, but you also have to get down to the math behind the scene. Now I have spent three days in my old collage math books and there is no light at the tunnel... When I realized how much of the engine that is pure math I decided to completely understand that part first and then head back to the programming.

So increadibly nice. Just removed a large piece of desk in the kitchen. Replaced it with some birkish material solid wood material... Looks great. Just need to oil it up. My girlfirend are having some friends over for dinner tonight.. I'm gonna spend the evening in the computer room.. just go out for some dinner cooked by the women... then return to the crib .. muhaha.. sometime its great to be man.. :) (just kidding, i'l probably have to do all the dishes)

Some people are to funny.... After summarising a day of serious network problems withing the company we discoverd that a subcompany located in another city had lost contact with the central IT systems for the whole time. When we called them they said that the suspected that we were doing something and had been on cofee break while we where working... the thought of reporting the problem had'nt even occured to them. Cofee break for a day... just got to love centralized IT systems.. :)

Network survailance is a realy weird buissenes... making monitor servers all over the world watch some poor webserver behave poorly, collect statistics, drop it on management and the see them torture som poor developer on issues like unadequate performance and such... at least I goot root ;)
